Can ChatGPT or Claude read my contact form entries?
Yes, through the Mitos plugin, but never in full. Before an entry leaves your site, emails, phone numbers and names are shortened, addresses are cut to the city, card fields and CAPTCHAs are dropped, and the IP address is never sent. The AI assistant can count, sort and summarise entries; to see one in full, you open it in wp-admin from the link Mitos gives.

Forms and their fields
Every form with its fields, messages and notifications, from Contact Form 7, WPForms, Fluent Forms, Forminator, Ninja Forms and Gravity Forms (beta). Integration, payment and API settings are left out.
Entries, masked
Entries by date and status, with personal details masked on the site. At most 60 entry reads an hour.
Totals and spam
How many entries each form received, by day and status, and how much of it was spam.
Where the emails go
Who receives each form's notifications. Addresses on your own domain are shown in full; any other address is masked.

How to connect it
Connect your WordPress site
Install the Mitos plugin and connect the site in one click from app.sar-soft.com. This comes with the same connection: there is nothing else to connect.
Allow changes, if you want them
The connection is read-only by default. An owner or admin can allow changes; each one then shows a preview and waits for a person's approval, in the chat where your AI assistant supports it, otherwise in Mitos.
Add Mitos to your AI assistant
Add https://mcp.sar-soft.com/mcp, the Mitos MCP server address, as a custom connector in ChatGPT (with developer mode turned on) or Claude, or as an MCP server in Claude Code or Cursor, sign in and authorize one organization.

What to know
- Mitos never offers an unmasked view of an entry, only a link to it in wp-admin.
- Contact Form 7 keeps entries only with Flamingo installed, and WPForms only on WPForms Pro. Without them Mitos reads the forms but has no entries to count.
- Forminator and Ninja Forms are read only. Gravity Forms is in beta.
- A form's messages and a notification's subject, text and sender name change with your approval. Where a notification goes, comes from or replies to, and turning it on or off, need an extra check that it's really you, with a 6-digit code.
- Entries can be marked read, spam or trashed and restored, never deleted. Every change can be undone.
- Answers come from ChatGPT or Claude and can be wrong or incomplete. Check important details in the plugin itself.
Questions people ask
Does any customer data reach ChatGPT or Claude?
Only masked. The masking happens in the plugin on your site, before the data leaves it, so the Mitos servers and the AI assistant see the same shortened details.
Why does changing a recipient need an extra check that it's really you, with a 6-digit code?
Because a wrong address would quietly send every future enquiry to someone else. So changing where a form's emails go, where they come from or where replies go is approved with a 6-digit code as an extra check that it's really you, and it can be undone.
Do I need anything besides the Mitos plugin?
Only your form plugin. Forms come with the same WordPress connection, so there is nothing else to connect.
In the app the connection is called WordPress, and it works on a site without a shop too. It needs the Mitos plugin on the site, connected in one click from the Mitos app.
