The short answer
On their own, ChatGPT and Claude can only reach public pages, and only when they search the web or open a link. They cannot see your Google Analytics, Search Console, orders or stock. That data sits behind your own logins. An authorized connection, such as Mitos, read-only by default, lets the AI assistant read the sources you approve for one organization.

What the AI assistant sees on its own
ChatGPT and Claude can search the web and open public pages. That helps with questions about your copy, titles or page structure.
Even a public page can be out of reach. Robots rules, a firewall or a login page can block it, and new pages may not have been found yet.
What stays private
Your GA4 property, your verified Search Console site and your store admin each have their own login and permissions. An AI assistant cannot get around them, and your web address grants no access.
So figures such as visitors, clicks, revenue or stock cannot come from a web search. If an AI assistant gives you such figures without a connection, they did not come from your accounts.
What an authorized connection adds
With Mitos you sign in to each source, choose the site, store or Google properties you want, and then authorize ChatGPT or Claude to read one organization. When the AI assistant asks for data, Mitos fetches it, read-only by default. The AI assistant writes the answer.
- Google Analytics: reports, realtime reports, conversions, funnels, property details, custom dimensions and metrics, Google Ads links and annotations.
- Search Console: queries, clicks, impressions, CTR, position, pages, period comparisons, sitemaps, URL inspection and indexing issues.
- WordPress: published posts and pages with their text, and the site's status, on any WordPress site.
- WooCommerce: products, orders, low stock, sales summary and categories, through the same connection as WordPress.
- Magento: orders, invoices, shipments, credit memos, returns, products, inventory, customers, CMS pages, reviews, sales rules and store hierarchy.
How to read an answer
AI answers can be wrong or incomplete, even with a live connection. Ask the AI assistant which source, date range and filters it used.
- Check the date range and time zone.
- Ask which source each figure came from.
- Treat a link between two trends as something to check.
- Confirm important figures in GA4, Search Console or your store admin.
