Update plugins one at a time, with a backup checked first
See which plugin updates are waiting, check how old the last backup is, then update one plugin at a time with a 6-digit code and a check after each.
- Difficulty
- Intermediate
- Time
- about 15 min
List the plugin updates waiting on my WordPress site, with the version each goes from and to. Tell me when the last successful backup was; if it is older than [hours, e.g. 24 hours], stop and tell me before anything else. Then update [plugins, e.g. all of them except WooCommerce] one at a time, so each one comes to me for approval separately. After each update, check that the site still loads and tell me straight away if something looks wrong.
Already connected?
If Mitos is already in your AI assistant, this is enough:
Check the last backup, then update [plugins] one by one and check the site after each.
What happens
- The AI assistant lists every update waiting, with the versions.
- It reads which backup plugin the site uses and how old the last good backup is.
- Each plugin update is approved with a 6-digit code as an extra check that it's really you, one at a time.
- After each update it reports whether the site still loads.
- It checks the site's health once at the end.

What you get
Up-to-date plugins, updated in an order you chose. Updates cannot be undone by Mitos, which is why the backup comes first; Mitos never restores: a person does that in wp-admin or at the host.
