The prompt

The plugin [plugin name] on my site hasn't been updated in a long time. Tell me which version I have, then find maintained plugins on WordPress.org that do the same job, [need, e.g. redirects]. Compare three of them: active installs, rating, last update and the WordPress version they are tested with, and say which already exists on my site. Check my last backup. When I pick one, install it and turn it on, then turn the old one off. Tell me what I must set up by hand in the new plugin.

Already connected?

If Mitos is already in your AI assistant, this is enough:

Already connected?

Find a maintained replacement for [plugin], install the one I pick and switch the old one off.

What happens

  1. The AI assistant reads the installed plugins with their versions and any update WordPress knows of.
  2. It searches WordPress.org for the job the old plugin does and compares installs, rating, last update and tested WordPress version.
  3. It checks how old the last good backup is.
  4. Installing the new plugin is approved with a 6-digit code as an extra check that it's really you; the approval shows its author, installs, rating and compatibility. If turning it on breaks the site, it is turned off again, and undo deletes it.
  5. Turning the old one off is approved with a 6-digit code too, and can be undone.

What you get

A maintained plugin doing the same job, and a list of the settings to copy over by hand, since settings don't move between plugins on their own.
