Find which plugin causes a problem, without an error message to go on

When something misbehaves but nothing shows in the error log, switch suspect plugins off one at a time, check the page after each, and switch them back on.

The prompt

On my site, [what goes wrong, e.g. the product gallery stopped opening on the product page]. There is no error message. List my active plugins and what changed recently, and suggest the most likely suspects in order. Save how [page address] looks now. Then switch the suspects off one at a time; after each, compare the page with how it looked and tell me if the problem is gone. Switch every plugin you turned off back on once we know the culprit, except the culprit if I say so.

Already connected?

If Mitos is already in your AI assistant, this is enough:

Already connected?

[Problem] on [page]: test the likely plugins one at a time and tell me which one causes it.

What happens

  1. The AI assistant lists the active plugins and the recent changes Mitos made, to rank the suspects.
  2. It opens the page in a browser and saves how it looks as a baseline.
  3. Each plugin is switched off with a 6-digit code as an extra check that it's really you, one at a time; it tells you what stops working while it is off.
  4. After each, it compares the page with the baseline and reports whether the problem is gone.
  5. Every plugin it switched off is switched back on, again with a 6-digit code as an extra check that it's really you; each step can be undone.
