Turning it on
- Allow changes on the siteAn owner or admin of the organization the site is connected to chooses Allow changes on its card in Connections.
- Ask your AI assistantFor example: "Turn on white label on this site with the name [your agency's name]." The name can be up to 60 characters. The app uses the
wordpress_set_white_labeltool. - Approve in MitosTurning it on waits for an owner's or admin's approval, in the chat where your AI assistant supports it, otherwise in Mitos, without a password. The preview says exactly what will change.
- CheckIn Connections, the site's card says white label is on. The AI assistant also sees it with
wordpress_get_site_status.
What changes in wp-admin
- Under Plugins, the plugin's row shows your name as its name and author, with a description saying it connects the site to your agency.
- The plugin's page carries your name as its title.
- The application passwords Mitos uses, on the profile of the user who connected the site, carry your name.
- The Tools → Mitos menu entry is hidden. The page opens from the "Changes and connection" link in the plugin's row.
What it does not hide
White label changes names. It does not hide from the site's owner what is installed or what happens.
- The plugin stays in the Plugins list, always with its Deactivate link.
- The plugin's page still lists the connections, recent changes and activity, and the site's administrator can disconnect Mitos there.
- Approvals, emails and the Mitos app say Mitos. Whoever approves a change sees Mitos.
- WordPress's approval screen when the site connects, which comes before white label can be on, names Mitos.
Turning it off and undoing it
- Ask your AI assistant to turn it off. Turning it off needs no approval.
- Within 30 days, undoing the change with
wordpress_undo_changeputs back what was there: no white label, or the earlier name. The undo is approved. - The site's administrator can switch it off on their own, with Turn white label off on the plugin's page.
- It switches itself off after 30 days without a request from Mitos, or when no connection remains, so a site you no longer look after does not keep hiding what is on it.
- The application passwords Mitos uses get their own names back, and each switch on or off is logged.
