Order emails sent from an address on your shop's own domain

Find out whether your shop's emails go out from an address on another domain, which the Greek shop check flags, and change the sender with a 6-digit code.

The prompt

Check which address my shop's emails go out from and whether it is on my own domain, [mydomain.gr]. Show me the sender name and address, the reply-to, and which customer emails are switched on. If the sender is on another domain, change it to [[email protected]] with the name [shop name], once I approve. Tell me what to ask my host or email provider so these emails don't land in spam.

If Mitos is already in your AI assistant, this is enough:

Check that my order emails go out from [[email protected]] and change the sender if not.

What happens

  1. The Greek shop check compares the domain of your emails' sender with your site's.
  2. The AI assistant reads the store's email settings: the sender, and each email's on or off, subject, heading and recipient, with addresses masked.
  3. Changing the emails' sender and reply-to needs an extra check that it's really you, with a 6-digit code, and can be undone.
  4. It tells you what to ask your host or email provider, so your server may send mail for your domain; Mitos does not change that.
