A site handed back cleanly when a client moves on

Make sure the client has their own administrator, remove your team's accounts with their posts reassigned, and switch white label off.

The prompt

[Client name] is moving on. On their site, list the users and roles. Make sure [client contact's username] is an administrator. Remove my team's accounts, [usernames], giving their posts and pages to [client contact's username]. Switch white label off. Ask for my approvals, and tell me what I still have to do myself, such as disconnecting the site in Mitos.

Already connected?

If Mitos is already in your AI assistant, this is enough:

Already connected?

Hand [client]'s site back: client as administrator, my team's accounts removed, white label off.

What happens

  1. The AI assistant lists the site's users with their roles; emails are shortened and passwords are never available.
  2. Making the client's contact an administrator waits for your approval with a 6-digit code as an extra check that it's really you, because administrator-level access is given. It can be undone.
  3. Deleting each of your team's accounts, with their posts and pages given to the client, is approved with a 6-digit code as an extra check that it's really you and cannot be undone. The connected account and the last administrator are never deleted.
  4. Turning white label off needs no approval.

Approvals involved

Worked out from the tools this recipe uses.

  • wordpress_delete_userDelete a userApproval with a 6-digit code
  • wordpress_set_white_labelWhite label on or offDepends on the change

What you get

The client owns their site again, with no leftover agency accounts. Disconnecting the site from Mitos is done by a person in Mitos → Connections.
